*Kogan -Endocervical speculum is a gynecological instrument used for    viewing the distal endocervical canal.
*Ratchet locking mechanism
*With narrow blades of 2 to 4 mm wide
*Serrations outside of the blade
* Unlike a traditional duckbill speculum, this single-spring, locking, finger-   ring intrument features opposing, fenestrated blades at the end of long     jaws.
* The jaws and blades extend deeper into the cervix and can therefore        retract deeper tissue.
* An endocervical speculum is frequently used in colposcopy procedures,     or where polyps cannot be easily visualized.
